It is lined with polished kraft paper and has an "A" rating under the U.S. building standard for flame retardancy. Backings are used to improve flexibility, strength, and workability.

About KamiPLY manufacturing method and storage
Kami P LY is manufactured from real wood veneer heat pressed onto a Poly Bak backing with white heat activated adhesive.
K ami P LY can be stored for long periods in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing in hot and humid environments.
Washi P LY is a veneer lined with fleece material and is our original product. "Washi" means traditional Japanese paper. Wa shi P LY is manufactured by lining a unique Japanese paper with natural veneer, making it an extremely thin product with excellent durability, flexibility, and workability. It can be used for a variety of purposes, such as watch faces, ring bands, and smartphone covers.
